Executive Director Dr. Victor Sabadash<\/p>\n<p>The Economic Research Centre was founded in 1990. The staff (full\u2014and part time) of the Centre includes 3 academicians, 5 professors and 12 doctors carry out activity. Scientists and Specialists of the Centre have carried out courses in Japan, USA, Germany, Greece, France, Belgium.<\/p>\n<p>Since foundation more than 30 fundamental scientific and applied projects were elaborated by the Centre including 8 international projects. The results of these projects were presented at International Conferences in USA, Japan, Russia, Greece, Sweden, France, Costa-Rica, Belgium, the Netherlands.<\/p>\n<h2>The Main Directions Of Enterprise\u2019s Activity Are As Following:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>economic analysis and substantiation of investment projects;<\/li>\n<li>working out economic instruments of environmental management;<\/li>\n<li>organization and hosting of scientific conferences and workshops;<\/li>\n<li>publishing activity.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Economic Research Centre is a basic institution for preparation of economic normative basis for development of Ukrainian laws in the field of environmental protection, in particularly, <b>\u201cLaw about Environmental Protection of Ukraine\u201d. <\/b><\/p>\n<h2>The Examples Of Recent International Projects Elaborated By The Economic Research Centre Are:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Economic Mechanism for Provision of the country Program for the Phase-out of Ozone Depleting Substances in Ukraine (supported by the World Bank);<\/li>\n<li>Case Study of Environmental Expenditure and Investment in Ukraine (supported by the World Bank)<\/li>\n<li>The Draft <b>Economics of business: Applications for the Development of Transitional Economies<\/b> (supported by the Program \u201cEurasia\u201d)<\/li>\n<li>Publishing <b>Environmental Economics and Management in Ukraine <\/b> (supported by the Programme TACIS).<\/li>\n<li>Pilot Project \u201cEnvironmental Management Training for City Managers through Distance Education in the Ukraine\u201d (supported by the Programme TACIS).<\/li>\n<li>Presentation and Publication of two international textbooks \u201cEnvironmental Economics\u201d and \u201cEnvironment and Health\u201d (supported by Flamish Community).<\/li>\n<li>The project \u201cSustainable Development on Local Level\u201d (supported by NATO Programme).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>The Last Projects On National Level:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Management of NGO\u2014conducting the seminars and publications of manuels (supported by the Programme \u201cEurasia\u201d).<\/li>\n<li>Research project \u201cAccounting Environmental Costs of Production in Ukraine and development of corresponding recommendations\u201d (supported by Ministry of Environment Protection of the Ukraine).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>The Tnstitution Is Ready For Development Of Common Projects In Areas Including The Following:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>economic analysis and substantiation of investment projects;<\/li>\n<li>training personal on economic and environmental fields;<\/li>\n<li>hosting conferences and workshop;<\/li>\n<li>elaboration of procedures for managing the investing projects.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Address: 244035, Ukraine, Sumy, ul.
